Is that a fist through Joker’s Chest!?
Art style’s gotten an upgrade from the 90s justice league. Omg! This is dark! Superman’s brutal! There’s so many characters condensed in to this movie. They even make fun of the more obscure characters like calendar man. This being a movie. They were definitely going for a mature rating. We get to see blood and a lot of it. Night wing turns in to Mumra the ever living!!! Actually Deadwing. But the sequence reminded me of Mumra. hahaha. Luckily the movie has a lighter tone thanks to Harley quin and arrow.
A Premise We Have All Wondered
The movie posses a simple question. Should heroes kill to stop criminals? It’s a question that we’ve all made at one point. I mean why do they impose those morals on themselves . It only makes things harder . It’s not like they get paid to stop criminals, right? I guess comic book artists imposed that rule to keep pumping out more comics with the same characters. The heroes however don’t have an incentive to keep that loop going.

Superman’s side? Are you ok with killing criminals to stop this never ending loop?
Batman side? Killing is never right. Not a choice a person or hero should make.
Which ever side you fall on . These characters are our heroes and incorruptible. That’s one thing I hoped they would have worked with. There’s a scene where Superman went a bit too far . I understand that some people given the chance would get power hungry and abuse they’re authority. But not our heroes, which represent the best in our own humanity. In essence: “That given a chance, we would do the right thing”. Ultimately another threat emerges that changes the course of the movie. My guess is that threading that line was a bit too hard on the writers. Or they needed something to “redeem themselves “.
We get a badass.. (certified badass). Just look at the certification! superman vs superman battle! I think this premise would have been better explored in a 2 or 3 part series since it’s so deep. But I’m definitely glad they decided to tackle. it is a fun ride , and getting to see the death of some of these characters was therapeutic . 🙂. If you enjoyed the 90s justice league your definitely gonna enjoy this movie . If you don’t wanna think too much about the subject matter. Then just enjoy it for the action and gore that they give us. Also welcomed was the updated art style that just popped on the screen! Dc has always seemed a bit darker in tone when compared to Marvel, and this movie proves that they’re willing to take that risk with their characters. That gets them extra points just for being willing to tread there. Injustice is streaming in most of the popular streaming services. Or buy it here.
